Our social media pages
We run Facebook and Instagram pages for the business. We use software to publish posts and to help us read and reply to comments and messages on those pages. The software only accesses the pages we manage, and only handles what you choose to post or send to them. Meta’s own privacy policy applies to what you share with Meta: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
Who we share it with
Only people who need it to do the job: our own team, suppliers and subcontractors working on your project, and service providers that host our website, email and social media tools. Some of these providers are outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on an adequacy decision or approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We may also share information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Comments and messages stay on the platform they were written on for as long as you or the platform keep them there. We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any work that follows from it, and we keep project and financial records for as long as the law requires us to.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, to object to how we use it, and to move it to another provider where that applies. To use any of these rights, email [email protected] or phone 01268 556104. We will reply within one month. There is no charge.
